Yes, the food Tempoyak bisaa called by locals. Tempoyak is delicious food that comes from the fermented durian fruit is then processed by a simple but has a flavor that can be outside. No one knows for sure since when it started in the consumption of food by local people, there is no source that could explain it. Tempoyak usually eat for just vegetables, fried or cooked fish to a mixture of (lamboi).


Tempoyak tidakalah difficult to make, the manufacturing process is very simple.

     first durian peel (according to your needs)
     separate durian flesh and seeds
     sprinkle with salt to taste
     store it in a closed
     stored for 2-3 days until a little sour
     tempoyak ready for consumption.

Tempoyak presentation is the most delicious in the sauce.

Ingredients:

     Tempoyak
     onion (puree)
     red pepper (cut into pieces)
     granulated sugar
     salt or flavoring
     red tomatoes
     cooking oil for sauteing

How to Make:

     stir fry all the spices already in haliskan (onion)
     input tomatoes and peppers that have been in pieces stir until slightly wilted
     input of sugar and salt to taste mix well
     tempoyak wait until the input changes slightly browned and fragrant
     after a fragrant lift and present
     tempoyak ready in sant
